Apple iPhone announced

Nikkei (Japan) announces that Apple will collaborate with Softbank telecomunication company to develop mobile telephones integrated with iPod music players, capable of connecting iTunes Music Store for music and film download.
At this moment Apple Computer Inc. hasn’t commented the announcement yet.
In 2005 Motorola already released a telephone (called Rokr) with the ability of downloading digital music from iTunes, but it received a lot of critiques about his limited functions and the limited storage of songs.

Kazaa peer-to-peer network risks the shut-down

Injunction for Kazaa, the popular P2P network, from an aussie court.
Sharman Networks, the company who owns Kazaa, must prepare a filter to avoid copyrighted material file sharing between his users within Dicember,5th or the service will be closed.
An appeal to the judgment has been presented and it seems that there will be a time extesion to set such filter until the end of February.
Note that just in the last days Bram Cohen, the creator and owner of Bit Torrent, another file sharing system, declared that a similar filter for his network will be prepared soon.

Security flaw in iTunes 6 for Windows announced by eEye

eEye Digital Security announced the discovery of a security flaw of critical level in iTunes 6 for Windows. This flaw could permit an hacker to start a code through a malicious web site link after launching the application.
eEye company is currently verifying if the flaw is present in the OS X version too.
