Maurice Noah & DJ Phunk – Kraftgirl
Label: Dirty House Music
Cat: DHM 003

A entire cultural display made in .iso format and mounted with the virtual device of music. A long journey starting from late 70s electro-pop, passing through techno-waves, landing on the most innovative 2006 sound. Here’s what Kraftgirl is and sounds like.
More than a song, it just tries to explain what happened since the first synthesizer had been invented and employed to make music. An acid moogish bass, featuring really modern grooves, miscellaneous tunes and an 80’s-style vocals, whispering weird lyrincs in a perfect underground tradition, could really be a mirror for all the stuff had been played in all these years, throughout the Dj sets!
The original track is reworked by DJ Phunk, who get noticed for his new-electro remixes of the INXS songs “I need you tonight/One of my kind” and FELIX DA HOUSECAT smashing hits “Silver Screen” and “Madame Hollywood” , with “Funny Punky” single already being in John Digweed tracklisting on BBC1 and in top djs playlists such as Alan Braxe and Eric Morillo.
